Improving Digital Payments

With Visa Debit cards connected to Salaam Somali Bank’s point of service systems, businesses across Somalia can process transactions more smoothly. Customers can also use these cards at ATMs and for online purchases. This new service supports the bank’s mobile banking, which already handles 40,000 daily transactions, and meets the growing economic needs of Somalia, projected to grow by 3.4% in GDP in 2024.
